What?

To put it bluntly, there is a whole generation who grew up wearing earphones.  Who cranked up the volume on favorite passages.  Who don't hear so good today.

Add to that the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Script Sign makes a lot of sense in just about any public performance venue.

You get more creative freedom when you're sure to communicate.
